Studies:
1990 – graduated the Painting class of the “Alexandru Plamadeala” Fine Arts College in Chisinau,Republic of Moldova;class of master Sergiu Fusu.
1997 – graduated the “Ioan Andreescu” Visual Arts Academy in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
Member of the Union Of Romanian Plastic Artists.
During 1996 –1998, Vitalie Butescu actively took part in the biennial exhibitions held by the FAU. He also contributed works to several private galleries in Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, Hungary, Greece, Japan.
In 1999 he settled in London. His works were exhibited by Harlequin Gallery and the artist received formal recognition from Basewater Road for exhibit and trade of professional works of art.
March 2005: ShopArt, Sofitel Hotel
July 2005: he took part in the Nicolae Grigorescu Fine Arts Camp – Medgidia
August 2005: he attended the Inter-Art International Fine Arts Camp – Aiud
September 2005: he was one of the members of the creative workshop titled “Landscape Painters in the Garden of Cotroceni Palace”.
