Ion LAZAR
Born at 22-07-1960 in Bucuresti.
Lives and works in Bucuresti.
There are few painters like Ion Lazar today. He trained with a true Master, who taught him to respect the traditions of painting and show an intellectual curiosity towards how the Masters of the past painted.
He studied painting techniques, which, out of passion and a sense of responsibility he is now teaching to his students. He elegantly and discreetly masters the way in which a concept, an inner vision expresses itself by a composition of colours and lights.
His”direction” is always a discreet one but underneath the painted shapes, an attentive eye can distinguish a strong artistic conscience, devoted to finding the ways of the great Painting.
